The kit includes all the fabric needed for the quilt top and binding, using the same color palette that inspired the original quilt.
Pamela Mae combines curved piecing with reverse appliqué to create its distinctive look. Clear, step-by-step instructions and helpful tips guide you through the process, with optional Heavy-Duty Freezer Paper Templates for reverse appliqué and an acrylic ruler set designed to make cutting the large curves easier.
A Solid Choice: Benartex Superior Solids
The quality of this solids line is exceptional. It has a beautiful finish, a lovely feel, and holds up wonderfully while you’re cutting and piecing. I especially appreciate how well it behaves at the sewing machine, without the fraying and unraveling that can make some fabrics frustrating to work with.
I used Superior Solids to make my Lunar Luxe quilt, and people were surprised to learn the fabric was cotton. Its beautiful sheen and rich color made many think it was satin!
