Big News: I’m a 2025 Benartex Sewcial Star!

Sometimes, amazing opportunities come when you least expect them—and Quilt Market in Houston was no exception! While I was busy doing demos and chatting with customers in my booth, Rachel Rossi, a talented fabric designer for Benartex, stopped by.

As quilters do, we got to talking, and I couldn't resist asking to see her upcoming fabric lines. Rachel was kind enough to head back to the Benartex booth and return with her lookbooks—and wow, they were fantastic! But that wasn’t all. When she came back, she was joined by Maria Velardi, Benartex’s Marketing Director, who casually dropped a bombshell: “We want you for 2025!”

To say I was thrilled would be an understatement! That evening, I eagerly filled out the application, bursting with excitement about what this opportunity would bring.

So, what does being a Benartex Ambassador—or Sewcial Star—entail?

As a Benartex Ambassador, I’ll have the incredible opportunity to:

• Work with their gorgeous fabric collections to create new quilt designs.

• Share my creative process, tips, and projects with the quilting community.

• Represent Benartex at events, online, and beyond, helping quilters discover and fall in love with their amazing fabrics.
