Hi! I'm Jen and I'm obsessed with all things quilting and love sharing my knowledge and quilt patterns in a way that is easy to understand. I spent nearly 2 decades teaching health as a registered nurse and nurse practitioner. That love of teaching has found a home for me now in quilting. Like some of you, I come from a family of crafters, quilters, and sewists so I was taught when I was young then started quilting when I was 23.

May 2025 - Snapdragon Snapshot - What My 97-Year-Old Grandpa Taught Me About Quilting
This month, I’ve been reflecting a lot on the way I spend my time, what truly matters, and the impact we leave behind. My incredible 97-year-old Grandpa Grant passed away in April and with his passing came a flood of memories about the way he lived - how he always put community first, not through grand gestures, but through quiet, consistent actions. He believed in giving back and it wasn’t just something he said, it’s how he lived every day.
