Coloring pages - Equilateral Gone Awry & Nuts About You!

These patterns are easy to make foundation paper pieced (FPP) quilt block patterns. They're GREAT for confident beginners to advanced quilters! There are instructions for FPP included in the patterns so if you've never done FPP, these are a great way to learn. They are an easy application of this technique. I love FPP because it creates very accurate blocks.

Click on the images below to zoom in on the front and back covers of these two patterns.

The blocks can be combined in so many ways to make so many different quilt layouts! Then when you add color variations, there are sooooo many possibilities! The blocks can also be made into wall hangings, pillows, bags, or used to add pizzazz to the back of a jacket!

Here are some ideas I had for quilts with these blocks. Which one is your favorite?

I love to use coloring sheets to lay out my fabrics and play with quilting designs. Click on the links to download the FREE coloring pages and start designing!

"Nuts About You" and "Equilateral Gone Awry" are patterns three and four in my FPP block pattern series. I'm taking my favorite parts of them to make a sampler quilt for a quilt along! Stay tuned! Until then, if you haven't already downloaded the patterns, here are the links:

These patterns will also be available in print and ready for mailing out on February 8th, 2023! They each include enough FPP papers to make 20 blocks!

Thanks for being here and supporting my small business! It means so much to me! I'd love to hear what you think, leave me a message in the comments below.

Happy Quilting!

Hi! I'm Jen, a quilt pattern designer and teacher. I founded Snapdragon Quilting in the spring of 2022 in memory of my beloved Grandma Louise, a skilled seamstress and crafter who grew beautiful snapdragons in her garden. I've been sewing for as long as I can remember and began passionately crafting quilts of my own creation in 2006. My quilt patterns bring bold and vibrant designs that blend traditional piecing methods with contemporary techniques. I love to play with color and contrast so you'll find lots of layout and color options in my patterns. Whether you're new to quilting or making your 100th quilt, you're in the right place, because here at Snapdragon Quilting, quilt patterns make sense.
