Quilt Festival Long Beach

My mom and I always have fun when we go to shows and Quilt Festival in Long Beach was no exception. We were lucky to get to stay with my cousin, her husband, and adorable twins. They even stopped by one afternoon to see the animal quilts and say hi! I recently longarm quilted a Favorite Flavors quilt for my dear friend and pattern tester Ashley. I loved having her lollipops with a yellow background hanging in the booth. If you look close you'll see the adorable lollipop minky she used for the backing.

Here's a gallery of photos of some of the amazing quilts, the cute as can be twins, and our booth. This show was special with exhibits of lost star quilts, modern quilts, miniature quilts, animal quilts, and flower quilts.

The Indigo Autumn Hunter Star quilt that's about half way through the photo gallery was done by Colleen from my guild! She came to the show with another one of our members, Yukino! It made my day to have them stop by my booth and congrats to Colleen for having her stunning quilt in the show!

Did you get to go to Quilt Festival? What did you love about it?

Happy Quilting!

Hi! I'm Jen, a quilt pattern designer and teacher. I founded Snapdragon Quilting in the spring of 2022 in memory of my beloved Grandma Louise, a skilled seamstress and crafter who grew beautiful snapdragons in her garden. I've been sewing for as long as I can remember and began passionately crafting quilts of my own creation in 2006. My quilt patterns bring bold and vibrant designs that blend traditional piecing methods with contemporary techniques. I love to play with color and contrast so you'll find lots of layout and color options in my patterns. Whether you're new to quilting or making your 100th quilt, you're in the right place, because here at Snapdragon Quilting, quilt patterns make sense.
